CF Fertilisers part of an industry led collaboration towards Net Zero

Net Zero North West is a new industry led organisation which is rising to the challenge of becoming the UK’s first low carbon industrial cluster by 2030. Chaired by Carl Ennis, CEO Siemens GB & Ireland, Net Zero North West’s is a powerful collaboration made up of: CF Fertilisers, Encirc, Essar Oil UK, INOVYN, the North West Business Leadership Team (NWBLT), Peel L&P Environmental, Siemens, Storengy and Tata Chemicals Europe.

The cluster is driving investment into the net zero economy and post COVID-19 green recovery. By supporting and safeguarding existing jobs, creating at least 33,000 new jobs and attracting over £4 billion investment, Net Zero North West will be a catalyst for economic growth. The region is home to the UK’s largest concentration of manufacturing and chemicals production, providing an unrivalled opportunity to decarbonise energy intensive industry.

Includes renewables, hydrogen, carbon capture usage and storage, nuclear and smart grids. With an unrivalled range of projects, the Cluster offers a multi vector energy system that can drive clean growth.
